What happens when you use NoUpload App

Your files never leave your device

When you choose a file, your browser gives the selected tool access to that file on your device. Processing is performed in the browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, or an on-device model. NoUpload App does not transmit your source file or finished result to a NoUpload App server.

We therefore do not receive, inspect, store, sell, share, or use the contents of your files for advertising or model training. When you close or refresh the page, temporary working data held by that page is released by the browser. Your browser and operating system control any copies you choose to save.

Information used to deliver the site and its tools

NoUpload App is delivered as a static website through Cloudflare. Tool engines, language data, and machine-learning models are also downloaded from our Cloudflare-backed model subdomain, model.nouploadapp.com. Cloudflare may process basic request information needed to deliver, cache, and protect these resources, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of the request. Requests for tool components reveal which component was requested, but they do not include the file you selected or its contents.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Please do not attach a private file unless it is necessary for your request and you are comfortable sending it by email.

We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, mailing address, phone number, payment details, or government identifier to use the tools. Optional support through Ko-fi is described separately below.

Categories of information

This table summarizes the information that may be processed when you use NoUpload App, where it comes from, why it is used, and who may receive it.

Why we process information

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we use information as follows: to provide, cache, protect, and troubleshoot the site based on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure service; to respond to messages based on our legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps you ask us to take; to handle optional support based on the transaction you request, our legitimate interests in administering it, and our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations; and to use future non-essential advertising technology based on consent where consent is required.

You are not required to provide contact or supporter information to use the local file tools. If you choose to email us, we need a return address to reply. If you choose to contribute through Ko-fi, Ko-fi and its payment provider require certain information to process the transaction.

Browser storage and cached tools

Your browser may save site assets—such as fonts, scripts, WebAssembly files, language data, or machine-learning models—in its cache, Cache API, or other browser storage. This makes repeat visits faster and can reduce network use. These cached assets are parts of the tool, not copies of the personal files you process.

You can remove this data through your browser’s settings for cached files or site data. Clearing it may mean the browser has to download a tool again the next time you use it.

Future Google advertising, cookies, and similar technologies

As of this policy's effective date, NoUpload App does not display Google ads and has not added Google AdSense advertising code.

If advertising is enabled, eligible pages may display ads served by Google and its advertising partners. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and—where permitted and based on your settings or consent—show ads informed by your visits to this and other websites. When Google advertising loads, your browser may send Google information such as the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, and advertising cookies or identifiers. NoUpload App will not send the files you process to Google or to advertisers.

Before advertising is enabled, we will update this policy if the actual setup differs from this description and will deploy consent and privacy-choice controls where required. Turning off personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads; contextual or non-personalized ads may still appear.

Optional support through Ko-fi

The support button on NoUpload App is a normal external link to our page on Ko-fi; Ko-fi content, cookies, and payment forms are not embedded in this site. No information is sent to Ko-fi merely because the support button appears. If you choose the button, you leave NoUpload App and your browser connects directly to Ko-fi, which receives ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser or device information under its own privacy policy.

If you make a contribution, Ko-fi states that it shares your display name and email address with the creator and also shares any message you submit. A message may be public on Ko-fi unless you choose its private option. The connected payment provider, such as PayPal or Stripe, processes the payment and may provide us with additional transaction information such as your legal name, email address, billing-address details, amount, currency, date, and limited payment or bank information. We do not receive your full card number through NoUpload App.

We use supporter and transaction information to receive and acknowledge support, maintain financial and tax records, prevent fraud, handle disputes or refunds, and comply with legal obligations. Ko-fi and the payment provider process and retain information under their own policies and act separately for parts of the transaction.

Your privacy and future advertising choices

• Google ad controls: if Google advertising is enabled in the future, manage whether Google personalizes ads at Google Ads Settings.
• Browser controls: block or delete cookies and clear cached site data in your browser settings. Blocking some storage may make a tool download its components again.
• Consent controls: where a privacy choices control is available on the site, you can use it to review or change your selections.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

NoUpload App does not currently engage in cross-site behavioral advertising or sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because no such activity currently occurs, a browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not change the site's present behavior.

If we introduce advertising that constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will provide the required privacy controls and honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where required. A general Do Not Track signal is not itself treated as an opt-out request unless applicable law requires it or the signal communicates a legally recognized choice.

Other parties do not currently collect personally identifiable information through NoUpload App about your online activities over time and across different websites. If future advertising changes this practice, we will update this policy before or when that advertising is enabled.

Legal disclosures and changes in ownership

We may disclose information we control when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or an enforceable government request; protect the rights, safety, and security of users, NoUpload App, Lumixity, or others; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of all or part of the service.

Any recipient in a business transfer may use personal information only as permitted by this policy unless it provides notice of a different practice where required by law. This provision does not allow us to disclose the files you process because NoUpload App never receives those files.

Regional privacy rights

EEA, United Kingdom, and similar regions

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, access personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not receive your files and do not maintain user accounts, we generally cannot identify or retrieve file content or account data about you.

California

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and to receive equal service when exercising those rights.

We may need enough information to understand and verify a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law.

Appeals

If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal the decision by replying to our response or emailing info@nouploadapp.com with the subject “Privacy appeal.” Please explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and explain our decision within the period required by applicable law.

Retention, deletion, security, and international processing

We keep email correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, or meet legal obligations. We keep supporter and transaction records for as long as reasonably needed for financial administration, tax and accounting requirements, fraud prevention, disputes, and other legal obligations. When information we control is no longer needed, we delete it or remove it from active use, subject to legally required records and limited backup or archival cycles. Cloudflare, Ko-fi, and payment providers apply their own retention and deletion periods to information they process under their respective policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a static website, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Service providers may process technical, support, payment, or future advertising information in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards and terms described in their policies.

Children’s privacy

NoUpload App is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy and how to contact us

NoUpload App is operated by Lumixity. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@nouploadapp.com.

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date at the top. When appropriate, we will provide additional notice of a material change on the site before or when the change takes effect.
